Ambassador Hua Ning Meets with President of Luxembourg Financial Markets Association
On April 2, Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg Hua Ning met with Vincenzo Giunta, President of the Luxembourg Financial Markets Association (LFMA), and Jacques Bortuzzo, President of the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CHINALUX), to exchange views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation in the financial sector between China and Luxembourg.

President Giunta noted that Chinese banks have been operating in Luxembourg for many years, creating favorable conditions for deepening two-way financial cooperation between China and Europe. The LFMA is ready to leverage its strengths and collaborate with Chinese banks to organize training programs, enhancing the understanding of both Chinese and European financial markets among enterprises from both sides and promoting business development.
Ambassador Hua stated that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, China's financial market will continue to expand its opening-up, with immense potential for technological innovation, bringing new opportunities for bilateral financial cooperation. There is a growing need for talent with knowledge of both markets and professional skills. He welcomed the LFMA to strengthen cooperation with Chinese financial institutions through seminars and specialized training programs.
The LFMA is a long-established financial industry organization in Luxembourg, with approximately 400 members from over 70 institutions. It is dedicated to building a dialogue platform between the industry and regulatory authorities and providing financial education and professional certification services.
